AB PLUS The MOCON AB PLUS is a new and improved AUTOMATIC BALANCE SYSTEM for weighing capsules, tablets, and small parts automatically without operator intervention. Automatically separates out-of-weight product from acceptable product and includes a continuous sorter mode of operation. Outstanding throughput speed with precise repeatability make compliance with stringent government and in-house weight variance controls easier to achieve. This instrument is ideal for clinical batch and initial press start-up sorting. The AB PLUS can be used with any Windows-compatible computer and the statistics are suitable for record keeping or GMP purposes. MOCON's AB PLUS Automatic Balance System is a modular design that allows you to start with a master and add up to nine satellite sorting stations. This added throughput gives you the ability to sort entire batches of product. With the available sorter option and extra-large input hopper, it is even possible to run the AB PLUS overnight. The AB PLUS's sorter option is superior to competitive units by virtue of its "jam free" operation, ease of running into drums without table modification, and lower cost. For sorting of multiple products, a multi-sampler option permits up to ten "source booths" to be monitored simultaneously throughout the batch run.
